Why is this site called "Henderson Valley Eggs?"
In 1999, HBO aired a stand-up comedy special titled, "David Cross: The Pride Is Back." Buried somewhere in between the comic's rants on airports, pornography, religion and "Inside the Actors' Studio" was a 1-minute bit about how advertisers try too hard to skew ordinary products to a younger demographic. His fictional example? Henderson Valley Eggs.
Here's what Cross had to say (Warning: There are a couple uses of the F-word here, so this is probably NSFW)...
We are the younger demographic of law librarianship, we think this profession deserves a hip new spin, and we truly believe that you're gonna love our eggs. (Ed. Note: insert bendy guitar note.)
