About Henderson Valley Eggs

Henderson Valley Eggs is a "themed information collective."

Huh?

The 6 contributing editors of HVE are all full-time law librarians who maintain individual web sites where they write about a wide variety of topics: pop culture, food, travel, knitting, etc. As law librarians, each also writes regularly about librarianship. That's where HVE comes in. When one of them writes a post on his or her own blog that involves librarianship, it will also be published here, providing readers with a one-stop collection of law library-themed blog posts.

From time to time, there will also be posts that are HVE exclusives, most notably "Per Curiam" posts, which are editorials representing the shared views of all 6 editors. The opinions expressed on HVE are those of the contributing editors, not their employers.

In addition, the editors regularly post links to library-themed content from around the web in the HVE Activity Stream, using social tools such as Delicious, Google Reader and Twitter.

Think of HVE like an SSRN eJournal, in which most of the content originally appeared in other publications, but which provides an extremely useful service by collecting all that subject-related content under a single umbrella. The only differences are that at HVE no one has to pay a dime to post an article, and you don't have to pay to read it.
